How to connect to your DVR

This page will help you connect to your Speco DVR for the first time.  This only needs to be done once per computer.

Saving and converting recorded images:

This page is designed to help you operate your Speco Technologies TN series DVR from a computer on your local area network.  There are two steps to viewing and saving playback.  If you haven't already done so, please download and install the CMS software.  This only needs to be done once.

 (1) First you need to save the recorded camera footage on your computer.  This ensures that important information does not get overwritten by the recorder.  Click this link for step by step instructions on how to do this.

 (2) Second you need to convert the recorded video to a format that most law enforcement can easily use and enhance.   This can also make it easier for you to view the playback.   Click this link for step by step instructions on how to do this.

Viewing converted files (.AVI)
