To play AVI Files:

We are going to use a program called VLC Media Player to playback your converted camera footage.  (This will not work with unconverted files.)  This is an open source freeware program.

1.  Install VLC player from this link.  This only needs to be done once.

2.  Go to Start Menu...Programs...VideoLan...VLC media player.

3.  Click File...Open file. 

4.  Click the browse button and find the video file.  If it hasn't been moved it should be in c:program files/CMS/Avi/   folder.  Click ok.

5.  The file should auto-play.  Once it is playing, you can change the options under video to view it better.  The most common option you will use is the aspect ratio.  Click video...Aspect-ratio... 4:3.  This will show an un-stretched video. 

6.  You can also change the size of the picture by dragging the bottom right edge of the video.
