Clay Studio

Studio Use Policy

Studio is open to users during AOG business hours*.

Studio use appointments should be made in advance if possible to avoid conflicts with scheduled classes.

User should have working knowledge of the clay medium, and related tools.

User is responsible for all necessary materials not available at AOG.  Supplies may be stored at AOG AT USER'S RISK, as space allows.  Clay is available: 25# bag for $15.00 (cost includes bisque and glaze firings).

Studio is to be left in the same condition as it was found, or better!

• Bags of clay stored at AOG must be:
  - labeled & dated
  - used within three (3) months of date on bag, or the clay will be recycled with AOG clay
• No clay down the drain!  Please use the rinsing buckets!
• Pottery ready to be fired should be left on the shelves in the kiln room on the appropriate shelves.
• Tools and supplies are to be put back in their proper place
• Tables and wheels are to be cleaned off, ready for the next user.
• Kiln will be loaded & fired by AOG staff only!

Fee schedule is per user, per use, regardless of time length, unless other arrangements have been made through the AOG Studio Director.
