Artwork is created through a multitude of motivating factors.  Each artist finds one or more mediums that suit the purpose, then work to refine the skill or find yet another avenue to explore.
This exhibit features artwork created in order to help cope with life's trials.  The process of working with a medium and its unique characteristics makes time pass more tolerably and acts as a diversion to the realities of the situation.
