Clay County Fair Art Barn
Arts on Grand hosts
the Art Barn at the world's largest county fair - the Clay County Fair.
The Fair begins on the Saturday following Labor Day, and continues for
the next nine days, ending on Sunday.
The Art Barn is open daily from 9 am - 6:30 pm. and features:
- regional artists demonstrating their talent and selling their artwork,
- watercolor painting and free hands-on projects for kids of ALL ages,
and
- LEGOs to play with courtesy of the American Institute of Architects -
Iowa Chapter
The Art Barn has a new look and location! It is still located on the west
side of the fairgrounds, across from the horse arena in the building
previously known as the maintenance shed. You can't miss us! It's two
doors east of the "Chop Shop", at the intersection of 2nd Street
and 5th Avenue. The building looks like a barn, and is white with a
bright red roof!
